The AXE4LT-6H service trailer is a transportable self-contained unit for use with surveillance and communication equipment. The service trailer will fit on the bed of a standard stake truck and is available on a one axle trailer. The unit consists of a six (6) helium cylinder storage rack, short frame aluminum 24V winch with pendant control, 1000' (304m) of tether (one pair of 20-gauge stranded copper conductor and 2 multimode fiber optic strands) and the AC/DC power box to store power and connect to an external power source. The cradle rests are telescoping. The AXE4LT-6H service trailer is a mobile platform capable of a variety of payloads.
The SkyDoctm Aerostat service trailer can be configured as a command and control relay center. The main AXE4LT-6H service trailer with camera and communication links would be capable of communicating with additional systems in remote areas. The AXE4LT-6H systems positioned in remote areas utilizing surveillance camera and data link capability would allow for large areas to be monitored from a central command/control center. The command system would be connected to a local command/control bunker through an Ethernet or fiber optic cable for enhanced security and interference free operation. The remote systems could be connected through two-way satellite links.
Standard open frame triangular platform, each side is 39" (990mm). There is a circular carbineer attachment ring at each point to secure the platform with a carbineer to each control line equipped with a cable line stop. Platforms may be custom built to suit specific payload configuration.
The central control Tactical Aerostat would consist of a SkyDoc™ Tactical Aerostat Model #22 net lift 63lbs (28.6kg). The remote Tactical Aerostat would be the SkyDoc™ model #20 net lift 47lbs (21kg). The Tactical Aerostats are connected to the tether at the apex by the control's lines, (left/right/keel). The net lift does not include payload, payload platform, cable line stops, and attachment carbineers.
The command or "control" payload platform can be equipped with up to 4 gyro stabilized cameras and radio links to the remote systems. The remote payload platforms would be equipped with a gyro stabilized camera and radio transceiver link. Control signals are sent to the remote platform and the video feed is received through this radio link with an effective radio horizon of 39 miles (63km) from the control platform to the slave platforms.
