Skydoc™ Aluminum Electric Winches

 The Large Aluminum Winch comes equipped with a 1 HP 24v or 120 VAC Motor and Motor Brake, with a rating of 1800 RPM, 180 inch lbs. of torque geared through a 60 to 1 gear box. Torque is then applied to the spool shaft through a flexible coupling to minimize bearing failure. Amperage draw running light is approximately 9 amps DC. Under normal working conditions, the amperage draw is approximately 50 amps DC. As the case with any DC Motor, amperage increases and the RPM's decrease with heavier loads. Maximum Line pull with empty spool is 900 pounds. Line Pull Speed is 57 Ft Per Minute. The Large Aluminum Winch (Horizontal and Vertical) come with Electrical Slip Ring (12 signal circuit), a Variable Speed Level Wind, Stainless Steel Roller as standard equipment. Also, included is 1 #2X442 Drum switch that allows you to turn the reel in forward or reverse. Our recommended tether for surveillance and communications are 2x20 gauge stranded copper conductor and two each Fiber Optic strands of multi-mode 50 microns for tethers up to 1500' (457m). A Variable Speed Level Wind and Stainless Steel Roller are standard equipment and a #2X442 Drum switch that allows you to turn the reel in forward or reverse.
